- Toyota recalls 94 model year 2017 86 cars to fix ignition key interlocks.December 20, 2016 — Toyota is recalling its 2017 86 sports cars (formerly known as the Scion FR-S) for problems with removing the keys from the ignition switches.Toyota says 94 model year 2017 86 cars may have connectors for the automatic transmission key interlocks that weren't connected before the cars were sold.
