Toyota employee killed in early morning motorcycle crash

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Scott County Coroner says that Steve Collingsworth, an employee at Toyota since 1998, died early Tuesday morning after a motorcycle accident on Outer Ring Road. Representatives at Toyota say Collingsworth was leaving work, and crashed his motorcycle at around 3:30 a.m. The company says outreach programs and support services have been made available to workers as news of his death spreads. ABC 36 has reached out to the Georgetown Police Department for additional information and will update this story as it becomes available. The coroner says he believes Collingsworth had a suspected heart attack just before the accident.
