Police & Fire: Man arrested in Sunshine Toyota burglary, car theftTrace Christenson | Battle Creek EnquirerSUSPECT ARRESTED: The Calhoun County Sheriff Department said a man is in custody in the July 3 break-in at Sunshine Toyota, 1355 W. Columbia Ave., in Springfield. Battle Creek police said they stopped the car about 9 a.m. that day on Interstate-94 and arrested the driver, 31. Deputies said Monday that man has also been arrested and was arraigned Friday on charges of burglary and auto theft. GUN ASSAULT: A warrant is being sought for a 40-year-old Battle Creek man after his girlfriend said he pointed a shotgun at her during an argument.
